OSCE simulation training: Combating human trafficking in Albania

From 19 to 21 November 2024, in Tirana, 40 practitioners - including police, prosecutors, social workers and civil society - took part in a three-day OSCE-supported simulation training to combat human trafficking. Building on a pioneering similar exercise by the OCSCE Presence in 2021, the training sharpened skills to identify, investigate and assist victims through a victim-centred human rights-based approach. Supported by the United States, Italy and Norway, the project strengthens the training capacities of the School of Magistrates and the Security Academy.
